Ping · consent

The written consent behind every text.

LogiPilot Ping sends load status texts and check calls to truck drivers on behalf of the freight brokerages that use it. Those drivers consent in writing before the first message: the brokerage puts the clause below in its carrier agreement and in every rate confirmation, and the carrier signs it. This page is the public copy of that language and the form it lives in.

The clauseVersion 2026-09-11

Load status communications. Carrier agrees, on its own behalf and on behalf of its drivers and dispatchers assigned to loads tendered by [Brokerage name], that [Brokerage name] and its service providers may send automated text messages and place automated or artificial-voice calls to the mobile numbers Carrier provides, for the purpose of confirming assignment, requesting the load's location and status, and confirming delivery. Message frequency depends on the load and will not exceed four texts and two calls per load per day. Message and data rates may apply. Any recipient may stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, may stop automated calls by saying so on a call or by contacting [Brokerage name], and may reply HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of doing business with [Brokerage name].

Brokerages paste this into their own templates with their name in place of the bracket. It is a template, not legal advice; each brokerage has its own counsel review it.

How consent is recorded and honored
  • The brokerage confirms in Ping, once per carrier, that the clause is in its signed carrier agreement or rate confirmation. Ping records who confirmed it, when, and which version of the clause was in force.
  • Until that confirmation exists, Ping sends nothing to that carrier’s numbers; the load sits on a manual list instead.
  • Every text names the brokerage it is sent for and ends with “Reply STOP to opt out.” STOP stops texts for that number across the brokerage’s whole account; HELP returns who is texting and how to reach a person.
  • At most 4 texts and 2 automated calls per load per day; nothing between 9 pm and 6 am in the recipient’s local time. A driver who says “don’t call me” on a call is never called again.
  • Phone numbers and consent records are used only for the loads the brokerage assigns them to. They are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing.
